The deck around the pool was looking shabby and I had a 5 gallon drum of gray paint left over from Monster's rental reno. It was too dark, though, more of a battleship gray and not something I'd like on Lavender Hill. So, I added some left over Colorado Sky Blue and came up with:
I think I like it - it looks happy !

Looks great! And the best part is you used 5 gallons of paint that otherwise wouldn't been used. I have 2 gallons of paint just waiting to go up on our living room wall. Its been waiting for 2 years now. I love making use of what we have. I hate to waste anything.
Nice!!!!
I love it. I will be over with my suit!...I wish!
I love it! Your blog is darling! I found you at the link up and I am so glad I stopped by. You have great ideas!
I certainly do like it. We need a pool just about now, it was 105 here today. Smiles,Lu
Can't see much of it, but your pool deck sure does look great! Probably because you took the pic after you cleaned up. Looks good!
Thank goodness that you have some happier shade of paint for your deck! :D I can’t imagine the deck in a dark gray coat. Yeah, I can, but I’d rather not! It would create some sort of a ‘dark hole’ feel for me. The pool is certainly a happy place – some place to relax and have fun in. Love it!
Great looking pool deck you have there! In order to make your deck more beautiful and interesting, it’s so important to choose the right color for it. You should think of the shade that will blend best with the other details around the pool. If you need ideas, the internet is a great place to get inspiration from samples and existing decks. Anyhow, you’ve done a wonderful job!
